I have been trying to contact them for an installation and no-one will answer the phone or return our call. We have visited the store twice and called repeatedly with no follow up. Amazing how hard it is to spend money with these guys.
Bottom line Home Depot does have a wide variety of merchandise at affordable prices (mostly). So if you're absolutely in a pinch and HAVE to get whatever you need today, Home Depot will probably have what you need
We spoke to the manager and he was uninterested in our issue and was very generic in his assistance. passing us off to a 1-800 number instead of trying to help.
I normally don't write reviews but I am writing this in hopes that the Store Manager at the Stapleton store will use it as feedback to improve their customer service. I needed help purchasing a bathtub and went to customer service to have someone help me. Waited about 15 minutes in the aisle and no one came. I finally walked the store until I was able to find someone to help me. I paid for the bathtub and let the cashier know that I needed help loading it into my car. She told me that someone would be outside to help me. I waited 10 minutes and then called the store directly and told them I was waiting outside and could they please send someone out to help me. I waited another 15 minutes and no one came. I couldn't load it into my car so I took it back into the store and returned it. Please, please look at your processes and customer service. I am now going to Lowe's to purchase a similar bathtub.
Need help. Good luck. Employees scatter like roaches. Have someone paged. They will still take 20 minutes to respond. Employee was putting away returns (before she was going to help me), another employee had to go tell her to stop what she was doing and help me. When she did come over, she told they didn't have an item I could see in overstock. Once I pointed out that I could see the item I wanted, she then said she "probably couldn't reach it" but she'd try. Sarcastic "thanks". She did try. She couldn't reach it. She was then going to leave me there. She was done. Great customer service. I told her it was unacceptable and that she needed to figure out how to get the item down. You NEVER tell a customer you can't help them. Another employee came over and got the item down no problem. The process took around 40 minutes. To get post hole diggers. One of many similar stories. Location is everything I guess. Can't wait for a lowes.
We highly recommend anyone getting appliances from Home Depot make sure to address the hook ups before purchasing.
We purchased a 4pc appliance package. when the delivery people arrived and they would not install due to the shut off valve for the gas line was not directly behind the stove. We had to hire a plumber to install which was an additional $200. This is a Home Depot requirement which was not address to us prior to purchasing it. We went through several questions during our purchase, not one question regarding their requirement of having the valve directly behind the oven. Had we know we could have been better prepared. A simple communication from the sales technician would have given us a much better experience.
Alas, that's also the best you can say because the people here (if you can find one who will speak with you) aren't generally findable or interested in helping customers.
Three . separate trips for three different items left me irritable and frustrated. Home Depot clearly doesn't value it's customer's time or they'd have people available (who can, personably, knowledgeably answer customer questions and inquires)
