Ive been going here for years, the staff is always helpful and great customer servive, i reccomend this store to everyone, as long as you are nice, you get it back! Great place!
Have been shopping here for over 20 years. Always get friendly assistance finding anything I need. They have earned my business and I will continue to support my local store. Otherwise the only choices we will have will be big box stores and Walmart. Spend the extra nickel per visit, save 15 minutes of your time, and keep these guys in business!
I've been going here for years until today, I encouraged my neighbor to go here today because she needed to get some more paint and needed some mixed that she had... I was told that since it was not Ace paint it would cost her, by the way the manager Rodney didn't care to hear all the details... He was distracted, in personable and quite frankly very disrespectful and rude.... He smirked at me and the ladies up front were the same... As the leader sets the tone of the team. He could of easily won a new customer today by selling some Ace paint and shaking her paint for free but instead he lost two customers, a new one and a die hard who's in there every week. I'm so disappointed and will not be back, I encourage the owner to contact me as I've had the experience of training teams and owners and managers of franchises.... I'm going to spread the word on the neighborhood site of this failure as a poor customer and potential customer as poor customer treatment. This is bad behavior as a manager.... We live in the neighborhood behind this store....
This hardware store never ceases to delight me. Friendly staff who knows their stuff; I can always count on them to provide exactly what I need. Even the younger folks have a surprising amount of know-how, and when they don't know, they refer you to the right person. The only downside is a small selection, but I've been told they're working on that.
I have been going to this family run business for 32 years. They have come to my aid on so many occasions with their excellent advice which more than justifies spending a bit more. In the long run, I save money because repairs get done correctly on the first go around. They have also provided some innovative things to try like using a windshield repair kit to fill in a crack on my kitchen counter in lieu of an expensive repair. It worked great. They always carry that one item that no one else does. They are always patient and kind no matter how bizarre my explanation of the problem is. Thank you so much for so many wonderful years of service.
