This is a high tech computer store. It has everything from parts to build your own computer to completed units. They have most brand names including Apple. The also have their own brand called PowerSpec what is unique about their brand is you buy the extended warranty you are promised the work will be done in 48 hours and they do deliver on that. There is also a walk in and wait section if you are willing to wait. I have used that to and it was beneficial. I gave only a four because they are not perfect and in tech world I doubt you will find perfectly but I had a couple of instances they missed the boat but made it reasonable corrected. They also have an amazing array of gadgets.
Marques the sales associate was a everything you could ask for if you have no idea how to build a PC. I told him my budget and we picked out all the parts we needed.
Always great prices. Their thumb drives can't be beat. I find them to be even cheaper than New Egg and you don't have to pay for or wait on delivery. They also always have great deals on monitors. I'd definitely go here over Best buy for computer parts and accessories. Better selection, better prices, and better information about the hardware.
Best technology store I've ever been to. I'm a web developer by trade, and this place is like a candy store to me. Their staff has always been very helpful to me. Their day-to-day prices are competitive, and if you keep an eye out you can get some crazy good deals from time to time. They have build-your-own computer parts, computers, laptops, Macs, TVs, all the accessories, a repair department, and a generous return policy if your new tech didn't quite work out the way you hoped it would.
My only gripe with Micro Center is kind of a big one. I paid 150 dollars for assembly, but the assembly team and the repairs team are combined, so it takes a very long time to put your PC together. It usually takes them at least four business days to assemble your PC and can take up to ten.
Great place to go for computer parts. The staffs were very friendly and have helped me pick out the best PC parts to build my very first 4K gaming PC. Jacob was the one that helped me out that day and provided me great recommendations and advices. Until this day I have enjoyed coming to Micro Center to buy my electronics. I would recommend people who wants to get great electronics and deals to come to Micro Center and buy it. The PC I have Built looks and runs super great thanks for the great customer service Jacob.
If you're willing to wait it out then all the power to you, but they should separate assembly and repairs so the people that just spent anywhere from one to three grand on PC parts (and 150 dollars for assembly) can get their PC assembled faster.
