I will preface this by saying that the Residence Inn is my go-to hotel and I've stayed at numerous locations throughout the country. This location is nice in terms of design, decent (but not great) in terms of cleanliness and about half of the staff are wonderfully helpful and very kind. However, the laundry facilities are horrible and some of the staff are incredibly rude.

Despite that, it was a great stay. Breakfast was similar to other locations but everything was kept well stocked through the morning and there was always lots of fruit. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The meeting room for a conference was great.

If you hate customer service and are burnt out with your job--it will show. Pull together two strands of ambition and get a different job so that you don't bring down the experience other employees work to create.

I tried in vein to wash one basic load of laundry here and dealt with two washing machines that did not drain properly and ended up wringing out my clothes by hand into a mop bucket and ultimately going to a laundry mat. Accidents happen and I wouldn't have been as upset as I was by the incident if it weren't for the rude and unhelpful treatment by the desk staff and maintenance department. Because the machines were of such poor quality I ended up missing an event I planned on attending to deal with a sopping wet mess of laundry instead and the staff, who was rude from the moment I asked for quarters greatly exacerbated the ordeal.

I hate to give a 3 star review, mainly due to the fact that I stay at 'Residence Inn' hotels every time I have the option. I prefer them due to the amenities you get for the price - large rooms, king size beds, full kitchens w/ coffee maker, etc. These hotels typically pay attention to the details. Unfortunately this was not the case in Denver. I will preface this by stating - I did NOT have a bad stay, the problem was several things that added up to be a little more than frustrating. To name a few... 1 of the elevators was/is (when I left) broken leaving only one other elevator to service every guest in this 4 story hotel. If that wasn't bad enough, upon leaving, I wasn't able to use a luggage rack due to the fact that they had vanished. I used one (of the two) when I checked into the hotel but after waiting half an hour for one to be returned I finally gave up and carried down my family's 6 bags myself - my room was on the third floor, so the elevator issue I mentioned was a big inconvenience at this point. All that said, I'm still a big fan of this hotel chain and will continue to stay with them whenever possible. Unfortunately this time was a reminder that not every stay will be all roses.

The location was easy to find. The rooms are almost perfect, (the refrigerator did block the microwave door from fully opening). It was surrounded by great places to eat at, all of them within walking distance. It has events called Mixers that have good food. The pool and gym are great.

The design of the kitchen in the studio seems nice, but it's impossible to open the door to the dishwasher more than about halfway because it's blocked by the refrigerator. This makes using it difficult. Like other Residence Inn locations the bedding material is nice but not exceptionally luxurious and the mattress is on the slightly too firm side.

Flight landed early and we were so exhausted. Our checkin in time wasn't until afternoon and they didn't have and rooms available for another 3 or so hours. Kara at the front desk bless her heart!!! She accommodated us and clearly cared that her customers were tired and drained from their travels and got our room ready before we finished breakfast. Small things like this make a hotel stand out. Because of her effort, I will stay here and any Marriott again. Thanks Kara for being amazing.

Convenient Cherry Creek location with plenty of parking despite everything nearby. The appearance is similar to other modern Residence Inns and seems more like a typical hotel than older Residence Inn locations. It's relatively recently built, but already showing some age. Some of the lobby furniture is a little dirt stained. Some floor tiles in our bathroom were loose and had missing grout.
