Very nice hotel, but not luxurious. Good solid Fairfield! Breakfast was good, eggs that seemed like eggs, sausage, etc. The train station is farther than we thought, quite a hike over the freeway. Staff has been nice and helpful. No real negatives, but not a deluxe hotel that merits 5 stars.
Don't leave anything worth value out, their staff will steal it. My husband and I stayed here last night. Room was typical, nothing great. I had to leave early in the morning. The front desk let us in to the breakfast area to use their toaster since breakfast wasn't going yet. Unfortunately, I left my purse in the breakfast room. I called not even an hour later, the front desk went and found it in the breakfast room, and said he'd put it behind the desk. When I did pick it up, my purse had been tossed. The $7 in my wallet and $75 worth of gift cards were gone. I hope either the breakfast attendant or front desk really needed it. My husband is a gold elite with Marriott, and we're going to be seeking out new hotel chains now.
Thank you!!!
This hotel fell below Marriott standards. We've stayed in many Marriotts all over the U.S. Our room was mostly clean. There were ring marks from the previous occupants tenants' drinks on the tables, the shower did not drain properly. You ended up taking a bath and shower at the same time. The front desk staff were not friendly or welcoming. In fact, they seemed annoyed that we were there. It was a Saturday night and the occupancy was pretty low. However, the beds were comfortable and we were able to adjust the temperature of our room, which was nice. There are much nicer Marriotts in the area. I recommend you move along to one of those.
Came to Denver for the Broncos/Cowboys game so all the hotel's were full and prices were high! Double the normal room rate! It was clean, the daytime front desk staff was kinda surly, the evening staff were friendlier. There was a Continental breakfast buffet, that was prepared and looked over by a very friendly staff of ladies that made everyone feel comfortable, and appreciated for using "their" hotel while staying in Denver... other than the crazy room price (over 200.00 a night) it was a nice hotel, with a great location for convenience to the freeway, lightrail, stores and food...
The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it from two to three nights. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is amazing with restaurants within walking distance. It's also not far from the zoo and aquarium as well as many other places to visit and shop. I would stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.
