I agree with prior reviews. This was a great vet when in the prior location. Now they are not. Earlier in the year my dog had a surgery and was stuck with the cone, she continued to get the cone off even when kenneled, the vet on two occasions told me to stop taking the cone off or her wound would not heal, even though I told her I did not take the cone off. Today I had taken off work to have all my pets have an annual and get their shots, I was called as I was getting into the car with 3 animals and advised they had to cancel with no options but I could call around and find another vet. It is 7:30 AM, that is not an option. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET!

Their base price for an exam is almost double what other vets charge. Not only did I leave with a very bad taste in my mouth but I also feel I was disrespected and my version of what took place was in question. I do not recommend them. They are more concerned with making a buck then taking care of pets.

Dr. Garner and the team there are nothing but professional in caring for my dog. He was attacked by another dog and Dr. Garner and team gave him the best of care from the moment I brought him in. Dr. Garner treated his infection, patched him up again and then monitored him along the way, spending time with me to explain his wound and healing, and what to watch for. The whole team genuinely cared about his recovery, and were extra loving each time he came in. They are a great team and I thank them for helping my boy recover.

Scheduling appointments is also easy, and I've never had to wait long to be seen. All in all, I've been really happy with the treatment provided for both my cat and my dog.

The end of life care for my dog ruined VCA for us. I've taken my pets here since before they moved to this location. The doctors and techs were always great and we didn't mind paying top dollar for their service. But then Thurber was diagnosed with bone cancer and everything fell apart. He was in a ton of pain. We called once to refill his pain meds and another time with urgent questions. Both times it took 48 hours to get a response from a doctor. When Thurber finally passed, they sent his ashes to VCA with a note asking them to call us. No call. I finally stopped in and they were just sitting there, and I'm guessing we never would have gotten a call. We found a new vet for our other dog and cat.

I've been taking my cat to see Dr. Garner for a few months now, and she is great. Not only does she provide compassionate, comprehensive care, she is also very frank about the services she provides and makes sure I understand treatment options. I've noticed a few people commenting on VCA's prices being steep, but my bills have all been along the national average for those services according to what I've researched.

Likely because they were absorbed or a part of the VCA, this clinic is tragically overpriced. I had a coupon for a complimentary first visit for TWO dogs. On the coupon there is no mention that both pets have to come in at the same time. I was told that they would honor the two pets so when I brought in my second they tried explaining that I could not do that. After expressing my unhappiness, the vet tech said she would talk to the vet and come back and let me know. The next person that came in was the vet. My assumption was that they were honoring the coupon. They were not. When I checked out and was told the charge, I questioned it. Dr Garner came out and basically challenged my version of events. The tech was dishonest in her version of the events.
