Carola raised her voice and was defensive during the whole phone call. I was trying to calmly explain why I was upset with the visit and kept being interrupted.
Took my new puppy here for his first visit and really enjoyed the vet we saw. The first experience was great and I was happy with Bear Valley.
Carola Stevenson is not an effective person or vet.
HORRIBLE customer service and poor communication skills. This is why we are switching to a completely different clinic. The receptionists are ALWAYS rude and there "shots for life" plan is a terrible deal. The veterinarian told us if we get this plan our dogs basic shots would be taken care of each year. This "one time payment" cost us of a couple hundred dollars. When it was time for his shots again they continued to charge us $30 per shot and told us they had no records of our purchase of the "shots for life". I was shocked and upset that they could fail to document such an expensive investment. So we had to search and search till we found our receipts to prove our purchase. The ENTIRE process they gave us a hard time and were COMPLETELY unprofessional. Even after we proved our purchase there was no apology or acknowledgment for there mistake. Not the first or last rude interaction we had. So we stopped going to them. Unfortunately, we still needed to get our dogs documentation on his past vaccines so we could transfer him to a different clinic. Wich to no surprise they continued to give us a hard time by being sarcastic, rude and unprofessional. I think they were upset we were switching but what do expect. From the beginning to the end it was a horrible experience.

We have been bringing our loving pets here for a couple of years. One of our pets needed surgery and Dr. Stevenson and Staff did a Phenomenal Service to our dog. He is living a great life. I am bringing my new pet to Bear Valley Veterinan.
Dr. Carola Stevenson has been the best vet I've ever experienced. She and her staff explain everything so well and in detail. We had to put down one of our dogs in February 2017 and the kindness, compassion and care our dog and we received was priceless. Such an aweful thing to do and we miss him so much, but they were stellar in loving us through this difficult time. We have a new rescue dog and he has done some pretty silly things and ended up in the ER, what impressed me most and that her staff called me the next business day and inquired on how he was doing! Their care and customer service is second to none. We appreciate them and will always recommend them to anyone and everyone!
I informed Carola that if she truely meant no harm then she should take a step back and analyze how she comes off to other people. She called to get feedback but would not listen. I will definitely be taking my puppy and money elsewhere.
I ended up hanging up because she was so defensive, interrupting and rude. She also aggressively informed me that “we don’t do refunds.” Based on this I’d say customer service is not a priority for this clinic at all. However, after all this I could care less about getting my money back.
They Are Great!
Great vet office. Modern facilities, friendly staff, and caring veterinarians. Little expensive and they always try to sell you additional services.
Today I came in and saw Carola Stevenson and she was horrible. Absolutely condescending and very passive aggressive. She didn’t even introduce herself by name - horrible bed side manner. There were multiple comments during the visit that were extremely passive aggressive and judgmental. Not to mention the constant upselling of services. Additionally, she was wearing so much perfume my puppy now needs a bath and smells offensive.
Really disappoited with Carola Stevenson. If you’re going to this clinic I’d highly recommend seeing another vet.
I’m going to ask for a refund for my lifetime vaccination program and will be seeking other veterinary services.
Customer service is about acknowledging the customers concern then making it right.....
