I'm a bus driver for a retirement community nearby and while parked at the Target near one of the entrances, a officer literally screamed at me to move while I was waiting for handicapped residents to board the bus. Two are on oxygen, and have to use motorized carts and the other 5 don't move that well. It was early Saturday morning and there was not much traffic which is why we come early. He screamed "Get out of the fire lane! You're blocking traffic (no one was behind me)! That's ridiculous!" Had he been polite and asked me to move, I would have been more than happy to comply. I did move but still had to load other elderly residents exiting the store so I had still had to return to where I was before. He was unbelievably unprofessional and acted more like a thug than an officer of the law. They talk about character, cooperation and competence on their website, this officer showed none of that.

Are u f***ing retarded? He was wasted threatening people and trespassing on the hotels property!?!??

I've have called on them for assistance being in security for many years, I know they care about what they do. And response time is the best. Outstanding service.

Police are useless, I want my tax money back. Arm and train yourselves because they aren't coming for you in Glendale.

All I needed was a simple VIN Verifciation form completed. Was told I did not need to make an appointment. I walk in the next day... no one is there in service window, fine. Two women walk past me and completely ignore me. I had to call their phone # before I could speak to someone. Woman was extremely rude, told me I had to have an appointment and they wouldn't perform this service if I didn't live within their jurisdiction (never came out to talk to me face to face). Spoke to someone @ Denver Police Dept on University Blvd, they told me to come on in... no appointment necessary and said it did not matter if I lived within their jurisdiction. Woman at Glendale PD is lazy, incompetent, and rude... this woman is the epitome of why gov't workers get such a bad rapport. Appreciate the complete waste of time and for not serving the public in any way, shape, or form.

She was so stupid she even said "We couldn't do anything if we came out there anyway"

Absolutely worst police experience I've ever had in my entire life! I passed out and hit my head and my roommate called the glendale police for help. I had about 9 officers show up in my appartment and i told them that i was dizzy because i took opiates but i was ok. They then presumed to tell me that either I went in an ambulance and went to the hospital willingly or they were going to force me. They told me that i didn't have any rights to make my own decisions because i was under the influence. They told me that my boyfriend couldn't make any decisions either because he was "drunk" which he wasn't and never said he was. I was so scared I then went into the bathroom. A male officer started taking the door handle off of my door and i told them i was using the bathroom and he just said if you dont pull up your pants ill just send in the female officer first. I then baracaded myself behind the door and he told me he was going to kick it down whether i was behind the door or not. I called the dispatcher for help and she told me that there was no one else who could help me because they were litteraly all at my appartment. Finally they left and just in case i ran to take refuge in my neighbors appartment. On top of it all, officer Gillis took my I. D. And never gave it back! When i called the dispatcher in the morning to get it back and she told me that there were only 3 officers there when there were literally 9. Unless i was unconscious or being completely disorderly they had absolutely NO Right to tell me that i had no rights at all and to threaten me and accuse my boyfriend of something he never said, and tell me that if i didn't do what they said that they would force me. I wasn't under arrest! It was one of the worst, scariest experiences of my life. I wouldn't recommend calling the glendale police to help with anything

I'll keep it short.... working security I had a guest at the hotel by shotgun willies threatening myself, the night auditor and other guest. 45 mins after calling the Glendale police I call back to get and I quote "I didn't send a unit, that's denvers jurisdiction." (Come to find out no it's not, it's Glendales) Still how can you just not send a unit and not call back!?!?
