We reported a thief at our business and I was afraid that I would have keep on the DPD to pursue our case. I'm happy to report this was NOT my experience. I was immediately contacted by Detective Stewart who spent over an hour with me discussing this case. He was diligent about keeping in touch with me and an arrest was made promptly. The station was very clean and not overly busy either.
Very trusting officer. He was very concerned. Received multiple calls while I was speaking to him. Sent a IU to check out the scene. Thank you officer.
A District 3 Officer arrived at my house today which obviously raised my interest only to find out he was there to make me aware that my garage door was open and that there has been an immense increase in criminal burglary in my neighborhood, I was so impressed that this officer took the time an effort to inform me personally, this is community policing at its best, congratulations to District 3 and training its officers to care about their local neighborhoods, there are those of us out there that support the Thin Blue Line even though we are not Officers, Thank you very much!!!

I would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the Officers that caught the intruder that broke into my daughter's apartment on S. Broadway last night. She told us at least 10 patrol cars as well as the helicopter patrol responded to her 911 call. Amazing response in just a few minutes... Thank you from all of us and God Bless.
