PLEASE READ TO THE END.... Absolutely the worst moving service I've ever dealt with! If I could give it 0 stars I would. We hired Stallion movers in August to move stuff out of our house and into a Pod and then from the Pod to our new house a few days later. The moving into the Pod seemed to run smoothly at the time. We trusted that they were professionals so we didn't babysit them the whole time. We explained what items were most fragile and they seemed to understand everything we were asking of them. Things really started to unravel with the unpacking of the Pod. My husband took the day off and scheduled the first available appointment so that we could spend the day unpacking and setting up out girls' rooms. At this point I am 6 months pregnant so I'm not that helpful. We received a call the day before our appointment stating that one of the movers was in an accident and our appointment was being pushed back to 2pm but we would be the first afternoon appointment. We completely understood that life happens and you have to roll with the punches so we didn't make a big deal out of it. 2pm came and went with no word. Around 3:30 my husband called the office and they said the movers were finishing up with an appointment and they would be heading our way around 4. At about 5pm we again had no word from the movers so my husband called again. The office stated that they couldn't get ahold of that crew so they were sending us a crew from Vail! The Vail crew finally showed up around 7pm. The first thing we were asked to do was fill out some paperwork however the guys didn't have a pen. So we spent 10 minutes searching for a pen. The crew of two included a new guy and a man that clearly had worked for the company for a while. The new guy was one of the men that packed the Pod on day one. As they were removing stuff from the Pod I could here the veteran explaining to the new guy that they did a terrible job packing the Pod. They put heaving furniture on top of boxes clearly marked fragile and didn't wrap all of our furniture even though we provided enough blankets. The guys worked in the dark to get everything moved in. It took them just over 2 hours to finish the job. In fact we just missed the hour cutoff by 6 minutes so we were being charged for a 3rd hour because of that 6 minutes. My husband spoke to the office and told them we spend 10 minutes searching for a pen and it took longer to unpack a Pod in the dark so we shouldn't be charged a full hour for the extra 6 minutes, especially since the crew was originally scheduled to arrive 10 hours earlier than they did. The office was unwilling to budge with the price of the extra hour. The next morning we began to survey your furniture. We notices scratches on dressers, on our hutch, and our dining room table had a completely crushed corner. When my husband called the office to discuss the damage, they put up a huge fight but finally agreed to pay us $25 for the damage!! My husband asked to speak to the owner but we were told that the owner is "not a people person" and wouldn't help us. After going back and forth for weeks their final offer was $150 for all the hassle but they wanted us to sign an agreement to not write bad reviews. We decided that it would be worth not getting the money if we could save one family from having to deal with these people!
For the third time that I have been using Stallion from office and house furniture and items moved, there is no single moment that they fail me, even with the tiniest details of my move. They have a competent staffs who work really in their best and for the only interest of their clients. Their dedication and enthusiasm for the work are really evident. Fantastic company, incomparable and unwavering! Surely recommended!
I would not recommend this moving company. I agree with a previous review that they were sloppy and took too long. Four hrs to move a studio with eight pieces of furniture to a storage unit so no unwrapping just drop off three miles from my house. These companies should be forced to charge by the job not the hour. Also I don't know how but they lost my printer and two garbage pales that the printer was in. I don't know how especially since we went back to the building after noticing it wasn't in storage. It wasn't in the apartment or hallway and I live in a secure high rise downtown denver. The movers acknowledged losing the printer and I signed that on the contract. I called the company and now nine days later have not heard anything even though they told me they would get back to me the same day. Is it too much to expect good service and for people to keep their word? I hope my review causes them to lose business and I will go through my credit card company and let them handle it.
This was my third time using Stallion, and they continue to do a great job. Arthur and Johannes were professional and timely in getting my move done in the allotted time. They didn't waste time and were careful with my belongings. Highly recommend!
Had to make a quick but significant review here. I would confidently say that this company had manifested an honest service when I picked them to take good care of my belongings. A lot of movers are recommendable; yet choosing it isn’t a failure also. They were so professional, efficient and trustworthy. Not even a scratch touches my things. Definitely suggested!
