I've used these guys a couple times and just got a quote. When I first used them, they were efficient, didn't break anything, and charged a very reasonable rate. I would recommend them to anyone moving in or out of the Denver area.
One of the worst experiences. I had someone come out to give me an estimate. We went through the house and I showed him everything that would go. I also told him I needed someone to pack my china and the kitchen. Two men arrived around 10:00 and looked around and said they couldn't do all this themselves. They called in more help. A man and woman arrived about noon and the woman had to go get lunch. Later in the afternoon two more men arrived. They finally got my furniture in my new place after 9:00 that evening. There were black marks on the wood work, paint knocked off the corners of a couple of rooms. When I was presented with the bill it was double the estimate and the movers had the nerve so stand around asking for tips. As I slowly got things unpacked I noticed I and missing two vinyl cases of tools, and a larger tool box that was full. I am also missing a portable Lasko Fan, a vinyl bag for clothes atorage, and mediun box of shoes that was clearly marked. I have tried calling the Company and got an answering machine. I have left messages but have not received a reply. The move was no more than five miles.
We are downsizing from a fairly large house to an apartment and a storage unit. Two men with big hearts, specifically Brandon and Brian. made what could have been a difficult situation for us become a problem free moving day. They started the day at exactly the time they said they would and took the utmost care with all of our possessions. They were both pleasant and professional throughput, until the long day was done. We would have no problem recommending this moving company to anyone in the same situation. Thanks Two Men and Brandon and Brian for a super job!
They were easy to get on the phone for scheduling, and the pricing was better than competition (because they do not take credit cards).
Do not be fooled by the sweet demeanor of the woman who answers the phone. This company was recommended to me and they came in as the cheapest option, while still impressing me with what they had to offer. I was told they would arrive between 8 and 10 but I would hear from them around 8 and they would probably arrive at 9. By 9:30 I still had not heard from them so I called, no answer. About 15 minutes later I got a call from the moving guys saying they were at my apartment. They were in fact at the wrong building although I gave very specific instructions on how to get there. Finally they arrived at 10. They started going over the paperwork with me and mentioned a trip fee of $95! I told him that I was never told about that fee despite the fact that I asked and he suggested I call the office. I called and again no answer. The moving guy called the owner directly, (twice because he was not answering) and had me speak to him. The owner could not have been more rude. As a business owner myself I told him that I expect him to stand behind the estimate I was given and he basically called me a liar and said that I was told about the trip fee. After arguing with him for 15 minutes, that I paid for, I hung up. A few minutes later the moving guy told me that he called the owner back and convinced him to take half off the trip fee, which I greatly appreciated though I still had to pay a fee that I was never told about. We had 2 stops to make and I waited over 15 minutes for the guys to arrive, though they left right behind me. We finally made it to my final location and when I asked them to put something down on the carpets I was told "You will pay for it". They wanted to charge me $20 for a few feet of plastic on the carpet! I was moving into a house where someone else already lives and they did not take much care in ensuring they would not ruin the other persons belongings. They knocked a light off the ceiling which my boyfriend had to fix because they ignored it and knocked other things over which they just picked up and threw in a pile. I have moved before with more belongings and it only took 2 hours, this took almost 4! What a horrible and expensive experience!
Our movers were on time, polite, careful of our things, and they didn't complain when they learned we had a treadmill on the second floor (and being moved to a basement!) They were great guys, and they didn't waste any time either. I would definitely use them again.
