Jeremiah and Junior were easy to work with and did a great job. They faced several challenges (narrow attic stairs and nowhere close to park). Everything arrived in perfect condition.
When I purchased a new home I had a moving date set, however plans changed on Friday and I needed a mover quickly on Sunday. Local Moving was one of the only companies that came through on such short notice. I didn't think they were the cheapest initially, based on their rate, but their two man crew, Chris and Damion, showed up and hustled. They were extremely efficient, careful and professional. Moral of the story is, you get what you pay for with this company - 5 stars! Plus, the total bill at the end was less than what I originally estimated. Thanks guys!

So this was my first experience hiring a moving company and I have mixed feelings. Roberto and Jason were phenomenal... hardworking, organized, polite, and patient as my wife and I directed our belongings... I was very, very happy with their work. So, a gleaming five stars for those two gentlemen. My only issue is with their initial estimate... which was 2-4 hours for our 2 bedroom apartment, moving 3 miles away, which would have maxed at around $600, for which we carefully budgeted. Jason was upfront the minute he walked in the door, estimating 6 hours minimum, which is exactly how long it ended up taking... and these guys didn't stop. So again, kudos to Jason for his expertise and professionalism. I just wish we would have had a honest and proper estimate beforehand, as we spent $350 more than we could really afford, which was like a solid punch to the gut. So, all-in-all a great experience with the movers themselves, not so great an experience with whoever is in charge of estimates. Beware, or budget accordingly.
