Last weekend we bought a bunk bed for our children. It was a very pleasant experience and the staff was very helpful. We had priced out many beds and the selection was decent and the price and quality great! Highly recommend!
It has been 3 months since they delivered a damaged couch. They seem incapable of replacing it with something undamaged, it is ridiculous the amount of hassle I have had to deal with.
I ordered a futon. A few weeks later they called to say that it was in. Different wood, different finish, much lower quality. Owner explained that he could not have sold the futon that we wanted at the price quoted. We demanded a refund, he criticized the salesperson in front of us and reluctantly gave us a refund. He was not nice to us, we had to demand better service.
OH! and I just called to determine the status of my most likely damaged couch, and the employee laughed at me. INSANELY UNPROFESSIONAL. (Hilarious update: they had 2 of the couches in the warehouse, both were damaged upon arrival, not their fault though, Ashley Furniture's fault)
I had been putting off getting a new mattress for way too long. It's nice to go to a local store with someone to guide you through the process. I travel weekly, and, the salesman helped me find a bed just like the one in my favorite hotel chain. Prices were really amazing. Options were plentiful. Don't hesitate when you need a new mattress, just head there first.
We bought a faux leather couch, chair and love seat from here over 9 years ago and it still looks amazing! We paid way less than anywhere else we looked. The entire process was super easy and affordable. We've bought various items throughout the years and have been very happy with it. Today we bought ourselves a new bed. Again, the entire process was easy and affordable. The staff at the store and warehouse were all helpful and kind. They weren't pushy rather they listened and helped us. I highly recommend Dream Metchant on every level...customer service, ease of the process, quality, affordability, etc.
EDIT: Talked to Les, the owner. Seemed like a nice and genuine guy, said he would make it right. Based on some of the reviews here, he seems like the person to talk to to fix this, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and giving them one more chance.
