Other times they turned down every single piece, an told me it was bc it was not what they were looking for, not in style....ect b.s. b.s. b.s. but I watched very closely at the ppl selling in front of me selling and...go figure, you guessed it, they bought ALL of their items, that were almost exactly the same as mine tho mine were in Even better condition!!
They wont buy plus sizes items, kids stuff unless its hip enough then a 22 yo hipster dude will buy it to squeeze in to, and I also noticed that they wont buy black designer's, or sports or team appearal.
FYI
There are alot of other cosignment and cash for clothes places to go AND BUY AT in the Denver area. Do your research, but please dont say you weren't warned if you do go here!!
They don't buy clothes here. What's the point of a Buffalo Exchange if they won't trade anything. Buffalo EXCHANGE. Looked around the store anyways and it was pretty appalling. An overworn tank top for $22? All the clothes were super overpriced and nothing special. Just go to goodwill.
Hit or miss, but I did find some sweet bikes for almost nothing.
God bless and Happy hunting(thrift shopping).
Always able to come away with awesome finds at this store and their Broadway location. They have knowledgeable buyers that take in a lot of good merchandise so you don't end up having to sift through 90% nonsense like a lot of other second-hand stores. Also, locally owned and much better than their non-franchisee counterparts in other states, with pop-up shops and community involvement galore. Buffalo Exhange is always an extremely valuable institution in the Denver landscape.
I actually witnessed a girl "buy" a tye dyed Santana tee shirt for $100.....and it was past obvious that the girl selling was her darn sister or cousin!! The only reason they bought my stuff on a one and only occasion is bc I pretended like I was going to buy a dress they bought from the girl in front of me. I got $67 for about $1000 worth of mostly brand new stuff.
There's more new stuff than old. I don't know why google consider this as a thrift shop prices are high for a thrift shop. Nothing special
They are crooks. They act like they are pricing what you sell right then, with the prices being incredibly low, bc they only give u a tiny percent of what they are supposedly selling it for, but when I went back a few days later, I had seen my stuff they tagged when I sold it for 3xs more!!! Example: FreePeople Top they tagged it for $8 gave me like $2-3, but I seen it RETAGGED FOR $28. I couldn't honestly say I was surprised.
Not only are these the most racist, stuck up, horribly dressed ppl I've ever dealt with, but they are dumb as dirt too!! One of the male employees had on a pair of super short swim trunks, an over sized dingy tee and if this doesn't beat all, he, who they had BUYING/(NOT BUYING) the clothes, had on a pair of freakin COWBOY BOOTS....TO BOOT, lmaO!!
