They had great variety which is the only reason they got stars at all. I could find at least 1 or more dead fish in each tank. When I told them only one of the employees cared enough to get up. The other one was grumpy and just left the dead fish in the tanks. They also had a brown octopus in a tank, however the tank was not sealed or even closed at all. When I asked them where the octopus was they said it was probably just hiding, Inlooked for 15 minutes, it was not in the tank. When I got my 2 crabs, by the time I got to my car 1 of them was dead.
I give them a 1 star. One because a decade ago one of their employees said changing the water is just asking for trouble. Two because the last fish I got died the week of which in a healthy reef tank with HEALTHY GROWING ACROPORA...... Shouldn't happen. Maybe change your water guys. Believe it or not it is very important. In the ocean that water is 100 percent exchanged I'm seconds. Learn how to actually keep the fish and coral guys.
I am a junior in high school, and Todd's Tropical provides the fish for the Marine Bio course I'm taking. It is so awesome that Todd's Tropical is able to help build such a great learning experience for students!!
Todds is the best! Sam the owner is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable fish people I have met! He really knows the value of customer servive as well! Nice selection of fresh/salt water fish and very, very,very reasonable prices and he has a large selection of new and used equipment too! I don't go anywhere else and neither will you!
I like this place I liked it more when I was into freshwater since they have one if the best freshwater selections in the city but now I'm saltwater only but still have cool stuff mostly fish not alot of corals but Sam will order water you want so good spot
