EVERY time we go here to pick up something for our Belgian Malinois, the people greet him warmly and get his tail moving! Great selection and nothing but great products and service will a VERY well informed staff!!
Best place to buy healthy dog food. Their rewards program can't be beat. Using rewards program its cheaper to buy food here than online.

I just recently adopted a dog who deserves everything good in this world—the employees at this store understood this and cared about my concerns. They took the time to show me the best food for him, the best bones, the best puzzle toys. He loves everything I’ve gotten him from Chuck and Don’s—especially the bones. When you adopt from Dumb Friends League, there’s a coupon for a free small bag of food and the employees ensured me that if Rex didn’t like it, I could return it! Of course he loves it though. I will be coming back!!
For the reasons stated herein, I hope Chuck and Don's takes this matter seriously, and discontinues the sale of any and all types of cooked chicken bones.

I have notified Chuck & Don's MANAGEMENT that they are selling a dangerous product that is known to be deadly to all dogs, and requested that they remove it from their shelves. I was told that they would contact their corporate office and notify them about this issue. That was over five (5) months ago, and nothing has changed. I contacted Chuck & Don's again last week (now for the 3rd time) and asked why they now knowingly continue to sell a product that results in death to our pets. The manager agreed stating that although she would never allow her dog to eat one, top management did not want to remove it from their inventory. In short, I felt disgusted. Disgusted that Chuck & Don's management is aware of the danger this product poses, but the value of a dollar is more important.

PS~ Please be advised that the aforementioned posts are in respect to the COOKED CHICKEN BONES THAT ARE SOLD AT CHUCK & DONS. It does not address any safety concerns pertaining to the chicken feet sold separately from the leg of the chicken.
If you search the terms 'dogs + chicken bones' there are numerous articles that discuss the danger consumption of chicken bones pose to life of man's best friend. Please pass this review on to any and every home that is fortunate to have a dog in it.
Thank you for taking the time to discuss your companies position on this matter and for contacting the initial seller of the cooked chicken bones to inquire about their safety. However, the reason I posted the review is because I personally purchased several of these alleged 'safely cooked chicken bones', but it was immediately apparent that these alternative cooking practices did not stop the chicken bone from shattering into needle and glass like shards that could ultimately seriously injure, and kill my dog. Furthermore, after personally witnessing how these bones shatter into shards, I showed them to my VET and she stressed the fact that THESE ALLEGED COOKING PRACTICES DO NOT MAKE THESE CHICKEN BONES ANY SAFER FOR DOGS TO CONSUME. IT STILL FRACTURES INTO DEADLY SHARDS THAT CAN PUNCTURE THROUGH A DOGS ABDOMINAL CAVITY AND RESULT IN DEATH. The vet further stated, " I do not understand why dog owners would ever risk their dogs health, and often times life, to feed them something that has a well documented, and lengthy record of killing dogs. It's just not worth it."
Customer service is TOP notch...Hours are very very convenient...Pricing is darn good (bone are cheaper and better than you know where) ...coupons make it even better. This place GETS IT. I'll never go to the big stores again as long as I can support these guys. They even take the dog food out to your car for you!
DO NOT PURCHASE CHUCK & DON'S CHICKEN LEG AND FOOT. The chicken bone SPLINTERS into needle sharp points and shards that WILL PUNCTURE your dog's STOMACH and/or lower intestines. When the splinter punctures the dog's intestinal track, this allows fecal matter/bacteria to spill into the abdominal cavity and enter into the dog's blood stream. This results in a very SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH for your BEST FRIEND.

Just read a negative review here and another reason Google can be unfair to businesses! The reviewer making a poor review about something she obviously knows nothing about has a history of nothing but negative reviews!
