I came to return a shirt @ 7:00pm and there were 8 people waiting in line for returns. There were 3 employees standing right in that area and none of them went to help. Then what looked like a manager came and went behind the counter. Everyone thought he was going to help. He did not help. He walked away.
We placed a couple large orders for grocery pickup and they did a great job. This was a donation for a charity Thanksgiving meal. The folks who brought the items out to our car were very helpful. We also shopped inside and filled a huge cart - the aisles were clean, maintained, well-stocked. The cashier was helpful and accommodating in counting items and not making us pull everything out of the cart. Overall a good experience! (One note: the grocery delivery online said they would contact us when our order was ready. Turns out, if you show up in that hour, you can pull into a pickup spot and call the number, and they will bring it out. We spent a little too long waiting for them to contact us first.)
Apparently putting up a tiny piece of paper at self checkout which no one can see means you can't use it like it should. Instead of the speed check out.
Automotive department is the worst. A complete waste of time. I called to schedule an appointment to repair a slow leak in my tire. "No problem" they said, "bring it in". I drove across town in traffic and got the vehicle there before 6, like they asked. Once they took a look at the nail in my tire, they told me they couldn't repair it because of where it was. I know you can't patch a tire if the damage is too near the edge, but this was almost dead center. They suggested new tires. I decided that since I was there and they were willing to do the job, right there and then, to have them do it. I didn't really want to hang out and wait at the store, but since they were gonna get right on it, I decided to wait. After waiting a while and figuring that the work was being done, one of the employees came up to me and told me they couldn't work on the vehicle due to a liability issue? When I asked what that meant, I was told there was a problem with one of the doors? The only problem I have with a door, is the back door. It doesn't open with the key. Why that gives them a reason not to repair a tire is beyond me. I don't understand why they were even trying to open that door? It's a work van and I keep my tools in the back.
I am very disappointed I have been going to this store for over 1 year. Not only are almost no grocery carts on either side every time I go. Or a lot of the shelves are empty and don't have the products that I need. The lines are always tremendously long and I feel this is unacceptable for the amount of money that I spent at the store monthly. I spend on average about $600 a month which is his have a substantial amount of money. I truly believe the service should be a lot better! I have left messages with the checkers with the greeters and with managers and nothing seems to get done nor has there been any kind of resolution for these problems.
This is the worst customer service scene I have ever seen. It's too bad it wasn't recorded. It could be used as a training tool on what not to do!!!!
Light on means you can check out. Turn the light off and you know it's closed. The employees apparently don't know that is what it means. Smh.
There is another employee working in the return area who also did NOT help with the customers.
If Walmart's policy is not to work on vehicles with insignificant doors that don't open using a key, they ought to ask you that on the phone before you make the appointment!!! This store is an absolute joke and I won't be coming here again.
