I got a FANTASTIC car at an even better price from these guys. It's just like any other used car purchase anywhere you go: LOOK AT THE CAR CAREFULLY AND DRIVE IT BEFORE YOU TAKE IT. If you think the price is too good to be true, look closer. Buy the d**n CarFAX for $39.95 and get as good idea as possible if the car is OK beyond what you see and feel. You should do this ANYWHERE you buy a car!! Andrei and the fellas were great to me. They fixed a tiny issue I had with the sunroof quickly and easily. And I read a lot of other comments about Andrei being "mean" and "racist" and stuff like that and I have to say I don't see that at all. He definitely has a sharp, dry sense of humor that some people might find off-putting, but he was a lot of fun to deal with as far as I'm concerned. You just have to appreciate/understand that type of humor. All in all, I would definitely go back and buy another car here if they had one I was interested in. It's just like buying a used car from anywhere else: Do your due diligence. Don't be dumb.
Andre worked with me to ensure the truck was exactly what I wanted. He is even working with me post sale to ensure all promises are kept. I got a great vehicle and a great deal. If you're looking for a Toyota truck this is the place to go.
We purchased a truck from them that has a supposed clear colorado title. For some reason it cannot be titled anywhere else because it was totaled and sold in an auction to them as junk/salvage. They repaired it using cheap parts, painted it up and sold it at retail cost hiding the fact that they purchased this vehicle at IAA. If you ever see this in a title search KNOW that IAA only sells salvage or totaled vehicles that where assigned to them by insurance companies. This truck was totaled by an insurance company but not "branded" so they (Georgis) used a legal loophole to fix this and other vihiclea up and sell them at retail prices. When they do this the only place you c an get a clear title is Colorado. You won't be able to title the vehicle anywhere else in the US. Also, they knew it was junked because they signed a document of declaration that IAA makes them signed before dealer title can be transferred. Essentially they buy wrecked vehicles for a few throws and dollars, fix them up (in their parking lot) and sell them for retail. It fits the definition of fraud. We have initiated an investigation with the colorado department of revenue and are considering criminal charges as well for fraudulent repairs. We cannot title the vehicle, they cannot prove its road worthy. They sell wrecked vehicles for retail prices scamming people.
I found the truck I was looking for and for a great price. This dealership was up front about how they get their trucks. Most are total losses or salvage by insurance companies. They are fixed and sold. If you don't like that or want to later trade in the car or truck at a dealer then you should buy elsewhere. I found the truck I wanted, I was shown the "car fax" and it showed that it was a "total loss" by the insurance company but not salvage. The truck looks new, drives great, has low miles and was the right price for me. I plan on keeping the truck for many years and am not worried about "trade in value" so Georgis was the right place to buy from for me. We negotiated the price to keep it in my price range so I am very pleased with the transaction. A week after I bought my truck I was called when they found an extra key and remote for the truck, I was very happy about that. Buyer be aware and knowledgeable about buying a vehicle. Get the vehicle you're interested in checked out by your mechanic, read your "car fax", understand what you're buying. These guys are good, dry humor, but good folks.
Be ready to spend 2-3k to service your vehicle after purchase. Parts alone were 2k for Nissan I just purchased. Had "new" tires on it the inside of the tread was so worn they needed to be replaced. The ball joints, control arms, pretty much all the steering components were shot shocks struts and brakes all were completely wornout. My advice talk these guys down to private party sale and you'll have a fair dealer price. Or just avoid this place like the plague.
