I couldn't have been happier with with experience. I brought in bindings to get mounted and had, unfortunately, bought a pair of bindings with brakes that were too big for the skis I wanted to mount them on. The guys in the shop found me the correct size breaks, despite the fact that my bindings are not a very common brand, and swapped them out with my too-large breaks. The team was responsive, communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thanks, evo!
Luke helped me pick out skis and boots and I can't imagine a better experience. I purchased the skis with bindings, but not the boots since I wanted to do more research. Online reviews of the skis Luke recommended gave me confidence they are perfect for me. He understood my skiing goals and ability and translated that into a couple of great choices. Online research on the boots and checking other shops made it clear the recommended boots were very good, and their price was $30 less than anyone else. They held them for me until I could make it back to the shop. Pete helped me check out the boots again. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Getting a great deal on last year's models allowed me to afford this excellent equipment. Can't wait to hit some snow.
He took the time to tell me about his background. He took the time to get to know me, my ability level, my goals on the mountain and he was absolutely spot on with the boot selection! While he was molding my boot liners he brought out some skis and educated me on why they would be the perfect pair over the next couple of seasons. So, what did I do next? I ended up buying those from him as well without hesitation! So lucky this shop is three blocks from where I live. I'll be spending more money here that is for sure! Thanks for a great experience. So, this shop is super awesome! Every time I have walked in the shop is busy and that is because they have an incredibly knowledgeable staff, great selection and competitive prices. In fact, I have seen and purchased products at evo cheaper than any other retailer or online marketplace. So, it's not IF you go, but WHEN you go, you should ask for Cameron. This guy is first class! He provided such a fantastic boot-fitting experience. I THOUGHT I knew what I wanted, but he totally put me in my place in the most professional way possible and I am so thankful for it!
Great place in-store & online! I went in looking for bindings for my new skis and the rep was very knowledgeable on what to recommend for my ability and what I would expect to get out of the bindings. I ended up ordering the bindings they recommended off their website and they made it super easy to be able to pick them up at will call. I was able to get all my gear mounted & waxed in just a few days and ready to go for opening weekend in Breck. Had a great day on the mountain getting in a few laps and loved the feel of my new skis! Highly recommend going to evo for all your outdoor gear.
The sales staff at evo is incredible. I had the most pleasant experience shopping for new ski boots, and the staff were super knowledgeable and able to give great recommendations. When my boyfriend found the same pair of boots online for a bit cheaper, evo matched the price immediately, without question. Shopping local is always awesome, but even better when it's at a place as great as evo.
