Absolute and complete millennial incompetence. They were basically like your a jerk and we don't care. I'm a jerk because your level and inability to fix a simple gear is mind blowing had the bike in and out a few times they don't care one bit about the frustration.
Go to a real bike shop instead. I made 2 trips there to get something they had ordered for me, and when I arrived, not only did I have to wait because the "real bike guy" (the cashier's words) was "out", they had sold the other, matching part that they were supposed to hold. To top it off, the "real bike guy" said he couldn't call the guy who had helped me the day before because he was out of town. Without a cell phone, I'm sure.
Pretty sure one of the dudes who works there hates his life. He doesn't even pretend to have people skills. Not sure most of them are even knowledgeable. Needed a simple bolt through the middle of a BOB stroller Tire repaired. Straight up told me she couldn't do it .Didn't even try to help. They just gave me a bunch of lame excuses like they couldn't order the parts online? First of all I can get on my phone and order the bolt in 2 seconds without even having to talk to a person . I'm just not sure how to do the work myself. You would think a bicycle repair shop would have some knowledge. I can't believe a BOB stroller tire is that much different from an array of bike tires. So there a bicycle repair shop and a hardware store that can't get a simple tire replaced is what I'm hearing from them. This place is less than professional they act more like you've come to their house and knocked on the door and are bothering them. Maybe they don't understand how a place of business should run. So now you get a bad review. And believe me I won't be back. And I will tell everybody who asked me why and I will refer anybody anywhere but your shop. This place seems real clicky about being clicky. So again if you want rude bad or no service at all go ahead and waste your time with this "bicycle shop."
Thank you so much to Lee at the bicycle shop who put my wheel back on and set up my gears properly for free!!! Was such a huge help. He even taught me how to do it myself for next time!
They are always so helpful!! They offer to do whatever they can. I'll keep coming back even though I left the hood.
