I've been coming to watercourse for years and I'm so thankful that Denver has a place for vegetarians and vegans to come and feel included and safe in their dining out experience. That being said, I have seen the menu at watercourse change overtime and I'm not as happy about their recent take aways and additions. About a year ago, when we ate at watercourse, the menu felt creative and like we were getting a real culinary treat. This past recent visit, felt more like a diner experience, with more ice cream and breakfast on the menu than actual creative dinner entrees. I understand that many restaurants fluctuate with their menu, but I hope that watercourse will bring back some of their culinary creativity, so I can really feel like I'm getting an extra special treat when I dine there.
Vegan food that's also comforting! This place is a rare find. It is becoming a fast favorite. My carnivorous is always excited to come here and try something new. The staff are endlessly accommodating and friendly. I am always planning my next visit to Watercourse.
The restaurant is vegan, so they have meat- and dairy-based alternatives to things like bacon and creamer for coffee, but what they offer, they do well, even for a meat lover like me.
Super yummy vegan food! Wouldn't necessarily say overly healthy, but way healthier than any other restaurant! Very hearty - they definitely deliver on comfort food. The vegan chocolate peanut butter shake tasted the most like dairy that I've ever had! Was very sweet, and they don't divulge their ingredients, so can't say how much or what kind of sweeteners are used. But great restaurant and can't wait to go back and try more!
I've had: Squash Curry, Southern Plate(Cauliflower Wings, Mashed Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Salad); Seitan Wings; Pancakes.
This is now our go-to for really good vegan food.
Had the waffle, it was perfect! Also loved the sweet potatoes which were perfectly roasted with their homemade condiments.
Really cool, chill place for brunch. Excellent coffee, juice, non/alcoholic cocktails, great vibes.
