I won't shop here again until they end the pay-to-park plan. Stores are expensive enough but it isn't enough for these greedy people.
Whenever my mom needs something to buy, she actually drives really far to Park Meadows mall, even though she lives 2 minutes from this mall.
Want a seriously good mall? Go to Park Meadows. Better selection, more attractive building, lots of parking spaces and helpful staff.
I have not been inside the actual mall since this change.
It is so disappointing that this mall is charging for parking. I didn't go to stores I wanted to shop in or spend the time I would have liked, because I didn't want to pay an additional $3 an hour to shop in one of the pricier malls in Denver. I definitely will NOT be doing any holiday shopping at the Cherry Creek Mall solely because of this. It's a great mall with excellent shopping that missed out on around $200 just from me tonight.
Oh yeah, they don't charge you to park so you can come in and spend your money.
Saturday I ran in for a quick stop, mindful of my hour limit...I arrived at 11:34, left at 12:37... The three minutes cost me an extra $3... Nice! Strong reminder of why I shouldn't go there anymore.
This used to be my favorite mall, until they added pay parking. They have good variety of stores, a good location, nice layout and it's fairly easy to get in and out of. Since they instituted pay parking I've avoided the mall or just gone in quick to keep it under the hour grace period. No more spending an afternoon checking out all the mall has to offer, the cost of doing so is too pricey when you consider other malls in the area do not charge for the privilege of shopping there.
If we roll over and just take it, they will see it as proof they can do it other places too.
My mom used to go there to do some walking. And while she used to go there for exercise and not to shop, she would always return home with something she bought.
I used to visit this place way more before they started charging for parking. This time I stopped at Bed Bath and Beyond because they had up to 75% off on certain items because they are moving out due to the slow down of customers visits due to the parking charge implementation.
Again, not very smart Cherry Creek Mall. It is all over the news how so many of their shops are suffering with much less customers.
Whomever came up with the idea of charging for parking is not very smart.
Neat seasonal events featuring well known artists. Great stores. A few great dining choices, but most great places are across the street in the Cherry Creek North area. Points be taken away for adding a fee to the parking lots here. There's very similar shopping available at Park Meadows and Flatiron Crossing with free parking, so if you're just looking for typical mall staples in a nice mall with good dining options you can do the same or better elsewhere.
