SO overpriced. I was visiting from Boston for a wedding and had to drop my dress off prior to the wedding. Not only were they quoting me at over $50 but they also estimated it taking over a week. Went up the street to Dependable Cleaners paid half the price and my dress was done the next day!
Just so everyone knows, I called USA Cleaners which is only two blocks from Hanneck and was told that a suit is $15 to clean. Hanneck charged me $25.47 which, after I researched the charge a bit, is even higher than the price listed on their website.
Good services, super expensive prices. I took 3 dress shirts in to be pressed and didn't expect it to be more than $10-$15 total. I was shocked when the bill was $40.... I wish I would have read the reviews on here prior to taking my shirts to them..
The service is terrible here, the quality is poor, and if you have any problems at all, expect to be spoken down to and refused damage compensation.
Bad place
I recently moved close to Hanneck, and decided to try their dry cleaning services. I dropped off three women's suits and two cotton blouses...imagine my shock when my total was over $100. Of course they offered their first-time customer "discount" of 20% bringing my total to a reasonable (HA!) $82. You can bet that I will be making the trek to my old cleaners in the Highlands, where I get the same quality, the same number of items cleaned, and only pay around $35.
I took about 5 shirts in on the 11th of October. After 3 weeks of trying to get money back from them damaging my shirts I get refused out right. I got told I obviously ran into something which caused a rip on the left chest area of one of my shirts. Only problem is, two of the shirts are ripped in the exact same way, so in there theory, I ran into something with one shirt, then put the other one on and did it again!....
In other words, DO NOT GO HERE, there are much better places around town
