I am a Registered Nurse who took my business suit to be cleaned at Gigantic upon referral from a male friend. I had pointed out perspiration stains in the armpit area to the Asian (Korean?) man when I brought the jacket in, and when I picked it up the stain was faded but still there- I could see the white outlines. I pointed this out to the man, and I said, " The stains are still there"- but he just stared at me. After a bit of silence I said, "I'm not going to take my jacket like this, I've had this suit cleaned twice before and they got the stain out the first time." After another period of silent and intense staring at me the man abruptly said, "I will use a different chemical on it." Since I assumed this "different chemical" would be stronger, I asked if he could guarantee the chemical will not damage my suit. Then with a loud and angry voice and staring at me he yelled, "Do YOU know what kind of chemicals I use? No one can guarantee getting a stain out!" The anger was almost palpable. I replied, "That's not what I asked. I want to know if you can guarantee the different chemicals will not damage my suit."
best cleaners ever!
Unfortunately this Asian man did not, or would not hear the question because he continued to talk over me in a very defensive, loud and angry manner. This man was clearly out of control. (Luckily I have experience dealing with angry people from time to time in the workplace.) I told him I wasn't going to argue with him, that I wanted to take my jacket elsewhere to have it cleaned since two other cleaners (one in CO and the other in Georgia) got the perspiration stain out the first time. I paid for the cleaning of my pants and requested a receipt, which he rudely gave to me. As I did not have a witness and because I am female maybe he felt more free to yell at me, but I curtly told him, "You don't talk to customers this way. A friend of mine who takes his business shirts here referred me, and I will tell him about my experience!"
There is no better customer service in Colorado. ALWAYS friendly and efficient. Good prices and great service
I have been using this dry cleaners for over two years. They seem to be the only cleaners in the area that can get the collars on my husband's shirts right. I have asked other, more expensive cleaners to make sure my husband's shirt collars get done properly but none can manage it.
Lived in many cities, and have used many dry cleaners. When all said and done, this business is efficient, reasonable prices, and great service. Dry cleaners are a dime a dozen, but a good one is rare. Would recommend to anyone looking for what I described .... (Side note... Read the comment about the pit stains, weird and not sure if you can blame them for not getting out a hard stain. Try a doctor or just burn the shirt.)
They are affordable, friendly and prompt. As long as I live in the area they will be my dry cleaners!!
I've also been able to trust them with all my delicate dresses, as well as household items such as table linens and comforters.
Please, do not patronize this business. If this man thinks he can get away with treating a female (or any) customer this way, I want him to think again. His anger was inappropriate and misplaced- the point is that he did not clean the jacket properly and got visibly angry when I asked him if he could guarantee that "different chemicals" would not damage my suit. A simple answer would have been sufficient. Ladies, especially, beware! This man seems to have anger issues!
