This is BY FAR the best and friendliest jewelry shop I have ever been in. A Family owned and run business. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable in their craft. And will tell you straight like it is. I had some Jewelry I was looking to sell. Some of which they do not take,but gave me suggestions on what to do with it. And with the items he would take he took his time. Gave me tips and educated me on the diamonds I brought in. They weren't the fanciest of diamonds but he treated me as if there was no difference. Austin, Zach and the owners Mr. And Mrs. Larson. Were all FANTASTIC. They definitely have gained a customer for life.
My husband and I took my wedding ring and band in for an evaluation and to possibly sell. We spoke to the owner who was immediately rude about the ring set. He was obviously trying to play down the ring set to get it at a really low price. Our ring is a Neil Lane certified diamond vintage bridal set (beautiful but it's a smaller diamond, just under a carat) which we had appraised before going in. He was so rude and said the ring was of low quality. He stated they only buy higher quality yet the we buy old gold sign leads me to believe otherwise. He asked what we wanted for the ring and what others had offered. This place is nothing more than a pawn shop. Great for buyers but not great if you are looking to sale. Unless you are looking to sale Gold as their big sign states out front. They are not a classy jewelry store. Once again the OWNER was super rude and basically tried to bully us into selling the ring for a quarter of what it was worth. Thank goodness we knew what our ring was worth and we knew we would only get about half of the purchase price. Be Careful if you are wanting to sell and know before you go in what you have and what it's really worth. I would describe this place as the used car lot of jewelry.
The Larson Jewelry Company is a great company to buy or purchase jewelry. I have known and done business with the Larson's for over 30 years. The staff, beginning with Len and Karen, as well as their sons are fabulous to work with and are very knowledgeable about the jewelry industry. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for your jewelry or gold business.

They are knowledgeable, thorough and straightforward. They are always happy to evaluate the jewelry I bring in and answer any questions I may have. They are gracious whether I choose to sell to them or keep the jewelry to sell at a charity event.
