Extremely loud music on a Saturday morning. And the prepared food/bakery area seemed to be competing, as the different music coming from there was also loud. Very unpleasant. Also, the shopping options are relatively limited, this is not a full-service grocery store. It did not have what I needed.
A real money saving store really cheap stuff and fresh
The prices are out of this world!!! Not because they are expensive but because they are INEXPENSIVE! Just bought about 30 36 dollars worth of fruits and veggies, cereal, hot dogs and it was only 19.86. The place is clean and you unfortunately have to put up with the Mexican banda music but its worth it even if you dont take ear plugs. I personally dislike Mexican band music but the store is incredibly inexpensive and worth the trip if you can buy groceries for the week for your home!!!
This is a Mexican grocery store that makes in-house tortillas. I've purchased these before and find that they're okay. They also have baked goods but I don't like sweets so I don't buy those. I've tried their bread rolls and they're full of air. I do use these in a pinch for banh mi sandwiches. The produce can be hit or miss and is generally pretty cheap. 7 limes for $1? What a steal!
The stocker in the store was very rude and didnt want to help i asked her to go and look for a product that wasnt on the shelf and she didnt take the effort nor did she want to solve the issue just made excuses.
They have a lot of their own brands in this store. It's a bare bones grocery store with lots of generic brands. Don't come in here expecting to find a lot of the brands you're used to at king soopers. I find that the food they have on their shelves is comparable to other grocery chains. I like this store when I need to grab a quick ingredient I need for my dinner recipe. I love the tomatillos here and started cooking Mexican food because of this store. They have an extensive array of chili peppers for homemade Mexican sauces. Lots of Mexican food ingredients. If you like Mexican food you should give this store a shot. They'll have everything you need to put together a authentic Mexican dinner.
