They forgot to take my temperature upon intake. So I waited 2 hours with cold sweats in a room coughing up phlem, before a nurse noticed I was talking funny. They checked my temp which was 103 by then. And tryed to convince me they had taken it upon intake and it was a normal 98.6. Then gave me a mild steroid and sent me on my way to go get some 800 mg ibuprophen for the swelling (NO ANTIBIOTICS). Talk about treating the symptoms and not the illness. I've been caughing up phlem/ unable to swollow and just in complete agony for 3 days so I returned today and found they wouldn't even speak to me until I paid another $125 out of pocket. Unless you speak fluent Spanish and are in search of 3rd world treatment. DO NOT GO HERE.
Not a person in here with a degree past a Physicians Assistant. Good luck finding someone who cares too... literally be ready to be treated like a number. Now that I have the next two days off I'm calling the board of medicine to report 2 doctors, and that's just the tip of the iceberg people. Please take my advice and steer clear, even for emergencies- drive another 5-10 miles away!
While the wait was almost unbearable, it was worth it. They were very through and left no stone unturned. Usually clinics are quick to write a prescription and push you on your way, but not these guys. They tested for every possiblity before drawing conclusions. Thank you!
Urgent care there isnt so urgent. They literally forgot about me after 4 hours of waiting for a nurse to come in with test results...
