I'm from the south and never was a "church goer" after high school, having spent much of my youth watching people use the church as a way to segregate people and use the bible as a weapon. For this group of pastors and this congregation to craft a place that is honest, welcoming, humble and inspiring and TRUSTWORTHY for me.... that's saying so much.

A great church with a great mix of pastors, members and overall community. Two of the lead pastors come from Andy Stanley's church in Atlanta and moved to Denver to execute their vision for what an in-town church could be. So, they are well traveled and experienced pastors who do a great job of building a warm community, and most importantly, delivering great messaging that challenges you on an individual level. I find their teaching and messaging approach to be Socratic in nature in that you find yourself being asked a lot of questions. This causes you to dig within yourself, which ultimately, is the only way people's life of faith can be moved (just my opinion!) - through their own discovery, and this community does a great job of nurturing this journey for people of all backgrounds and regardless of where people are in their walk with God.

We have been attending this church for almost six years now and can say that this isn't like any other church I've ever attended. Some Sunday mornings they rock the seven piece band so you know the music is good but mostly it is the message. The pastors are very smart and have the ability to unpack weekly messages from scripture in an accessible and meaningful way. They take the time to explain what the passage meant in the original language in which it was written and why it was written that way based on the socioeconomic and political influences AT THE TIME it was written. I always leave the service feeling inspired, loved and smarter than before I entered the church.

The church is smaller and intimate, but if you are looking for nice people and a great message that causes you to ask questions of yourself, this is a great place.

New Denver Church is a fantastic place to worship, grow in your faith and meet wonderful people all in one. As a person that had looked at numerous churches to try and find a welcoming place where I could feel at home in growing my relationship with God, NDC went above and beyond. Pastor Norton and Pastor Dan will welcome you in with open arms and truly help in any way that they can. This church is genuine and full of friendly amazing people! Check it out

This church has given me a sense of belonging like no other church has! The people are very welcoming, friendly, and open. There is an amazing sense of community. I love the messages as they always apply to my life and are relevant. They have a lot of ways to get involved so you can serve God while meeting others from the church. If you are looking for a new church then check out New Denver!

I've been attending here for a little over a year now and I love it! Many churches get caught up in adhering to a strict set of doctrinal rules, but New Denver keeps it simple and focused on faith. Since the first week I felt welcome and comfortable here.
