Great coffee and excellent teas, cool books as well. All wrapped up in a great setting.
An absolutely great experience. Warmly greeted immediately by the gentleman behind the counter. He had what I was looking for. I then wandered and discovered so many great books. I am looking forward to coming back to enjoy a coffee at one of his cozy tables inside and on the sidewalk.
Stopped in for an afternoon cappuccino and it was a great stop. The cappuccino was really good and the barista was great. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. There are a lot of good books to read as well.
I came in on a Sunday morning looking for books to purchase. I approached the man at the counter and began speaking to him. He cut me off rudely insinuated I wanted money, probably because I had a folder in my hands. All I wanted were suggestions of excellent books to send the sister of my recently killed girlfriend. He was a rude, disrespectful jerk.
I walked in and read book covers as I walked through the store. Never greeted once by the woman by the register. I kept walking around, finally deciding on one book to buy. Lady at register began to walk away but came back once she saw me approach to pay; still not saying a word to me. She began ringing me up, still not saying a word, I was appalled. She finally spoke when I wasn't familiar with their debit card machine, and she told me how to work it. There was no Hello, How Are you, Have You Been Here Before, nothing. I'm a huge book lover and book shopper, having discovered this place just walking around, I was excited. But to feel how unwelcomed and unacknowledged I was, discourages me from returning. Five stars for books organized and displayed in general, but one star for service.
