Went in with my girlfriend and sister. Sister got the chowder and boiled shrimp. She loved both dishes and finished both. Girlfriend and I split fish and chips and it had the biggest, most perfectly fried piece of fried fish I have ever seen. All of the meals were a 10/10. Best fried fish I have ever had
The Bad: I could've used a tad more may on the lobster roll but purists might disagree with me. Personal opinion but very good still.
I was hoping for a good seafood experience from reading the reviews but it was below average from my perspective on a Wednesday evening. The service and presentation of the food was good but the taste was disappointing. My wife ordered the original lobster roll which tasted bland. It tasted better with the additional aioli provided but still was hoping the flavor would be there without the additional support. My mother and I had the burger and lobster. The lobster was decent as you got a half tail and one claw. Unfortunately if you put lobster next to the burger your going to get a soggy bun which is what I got when I started on the burger. The burger was cooked to order which was nice but it was a soggy mess. The Poke Tuna appeziter was decent but overwhelmed by the amount mayo based sauce with the tuna in the background. Other side notes: As of 11/1/17 I reserved on open table and received a email regarding my confirmation as well as a cool deal on what appeared to be $15 lobster rolls and $20 1lb lobster etc. When we arrived the flyers said $20 lobster rolls and $25 1lb lobster meal. I checked to clarify what was the price as that was misleading when we arrived. The manager came and mentioned that was the wrong price and hadn't been updated for a year but assured me that this was still a great deal. Thanks? Because I'm always looking to pay more for a meal? At least honor the price and that would have made me feel better. Lastly the server forgot to bring our appetizer oysters but at least I didn't have to pay for them.
Overall - We will definitely be going back and I would recommend this to friends.
The Good: I highly recommend the clam chowder, it was suggested by the waiter and was delicious even though it was 85 degrees outside. We tried the traditional lobster roll and the Denver lobster roll, both were very good but could've used a little more mayo (my opinion). The oyster selection was good and once again our waiter was quick to provide suggestions.
Good seafood. A little on the pricey side. Parking is hard to find in Cherry Creek. You can't go wrong with the daily specials.
Excellent food and service. Great selection of fresh oysters. Everything tasted so good including the sides, everything had it's own different flavor not like a typical restaurant. Do yourself a favor and eat here.
