In conclusion, I feel that you can receive adequate care from Concentra. However, one must take a firm stand on what they know is best for their own health. Only then will you receive the care that's correct for you.
My case is a Workmen's Comp. situation. I believe, on the whole, everyone is trying to do their best. However, recovery from this injury is a part-time job in and of it's self! There are countless appointments and an intense pressure to recover within a 60 day time limit. The fact that you know your body and you know the difference between pain and pressure does not seem to matter. In my opinion, this is the badge of shame that Concentra bears.
I feel that when health care workers no longer focus on the individual and resort to bullying a patient to comply with a set timeline, it's time to advocate for oneself.
I️ came in for a routine pre employment screen, something I’ve done plenty of times in the past. I️ was told the wait would be 2.5-3 hours and I️ definitely was there for that amount of time. This seems a bit extreme for a standard DT and Physical. The woman at the front desk was not friendly and was flat out rude to a couple of people who came in. She went so far as to call a patient’s name for him to come to the counter, didn’t wait for him even stand up and blurted out “$75” at him. This is pretty unprofessional and possibly even a doctor/patient confidentiality breach. She clearly wasn’t happy to be there, then proceeded to proclaim this was her day off and how her regular days off were the crappy ones. Sure, I️ get it, we’ve all been there, but to air your grievances to customers of Concentra is pretty unprofessional as well. This location is a complete garbage dumpster fire, and I️ definitely would NOT recommend anyone visiting this location. Get it together.
I had a TB test conducted on a Thursday as part of an application process for a job. The only day the test could be read was on Saturday or Sunday. The clinic that tested me was closed over the weekend. I called every urgent Care near my house to see if they would read my test and they said no. Concentra stated they would read the test and they were very friendly on the phone. I drove to this location to have my test read. They were very friendly and got me in and out very quickly. The waiting room is comfortable with a wide variety of coffee and tea. I would highly recommend coming here even if it is out the way.
At the Cherry Creek office, everyone is polite and the office is clean. They seem up-to-date, yet they are still very A.M.A. Don't expect cutting edge care or progressive thoughts from them. They pretty much stick to the script.
Beware of this clinic. Came in on 10/20 at 615 pm with pain in my rib cage and fever. Male PA says oh those are interesting symptoms. He was more interested in chatting with the receptionist than helping.Then he had the audacity to ask what my Insurance is . I actually have very good health insurance. Some people should not be allowed to care for other humans.This PA is one of them. What has happened to medical care in the US?He exhibited such an apathetic attitude toward helping. Sorry for bothering you young man.I will never come here again!!!!!
They're very nice it did take quite a while to get in first appointment. And I was supposed to see a different PT person and it took roughly two weeks before they called to schedule that. But I love my PT person and my Dr and you're close to my work
