This place has everything you could want in a liquor store. Many options of every type of booze, helpful sales associates, and everything you'd want to accompany your drinks. I love that I can buy luxardo cherries here. There are regular sales here which makes it affordable and fun to try new things based on what's a good deal on a given week.
I have shopped here religiously since my first visit. Monday was my birthday, and I could not find the bottle of wine that I had wanted to accompany my birthday dinner. I couldn't get anyone to help me find it. Finally at the register with some of the items I was able to find, the cashier had this "oh well" attitude. She didn't seem to care at all.
Great sales, very knowledgeable staff. I asked about sake and just happened to speak with someone who was actually able to tell me, in detail, about the sakes available there. They are usually very nice. The only negative is possibly that the parking lot doesn't feel entirely safe some times. I live right across the street and that whole are has some problems, nothing to do with the store itself. They have great security. Just something to note.
Based on other reviews I have read, it seems that customer service has gone to hell here. They will not be getting all of my business as they once did. Thanks for the disappointment on my birthday !
Was here with my girlfriend just now. The cashier asked me if I was good as I yawned while I was walking towards the cash register. I said of course.and I asked him the reason he asked and he then responded that they don't sell alcohol to people who are drunk or intoxicated. And again asked me if was good. I tried to laugh it off but it was completely out of line. I don't drink. I'm not intoxicated. When I said that I didn't drink he didn't respond with any sort of apology just rang my girlfriends order up and ignored me when I said that I was upset. I will never bring my business here ever again.
Went there yesterday....it was very busy. I wanted a box wine, and I'm not a huge connoisseur of wine so was looking for those on sale. Saw a sign posted $11.99...right up my price line....should have checked to make sure the box I picked was the one that the $11.99 price was for....but busy, crazy, people pushing, etc...I just grabbed it since the little blue sign was right on the rack the box wine was sitting on....hanging right below it. Got out the store and madhouse parking lot and got home, checked my receipt and saw I was charged $18.99 for the wine. Now the $7.00 difference is not going to break me...but called the store anyway..what I object to and take offense to is basically being called a liar. The manager I spoke to claimed she sent someone to check the price and they saw no blue price tag for $11.99 anywhere near this box wine I picked out the cooler...wow...ok. I take that as calling me a liar.
