Every week I see how amazing the staff are and on Saturdays they facilitate a special needs session that we love attending.
This place has it all. A myriad of lanes? Check. Cool music and lighting? Check. Great French fries? Big check. Highly recommend.
My home away from home. The servers Joanne and Janine are top notch. Now the lanes are the Bermuda Triangle of Bowling centers.
Poorly managed place. There’s always something wrong. One time my ball hit something weird and had to have the guy come look at the lane. 15 minutes later we go ask the lady at the desk who informs us “that lane is down now so you’ll have to move” instead of them coming and letting us know. The last time I went on a Tuesday and they were out of the beers on special and weren’t offering any kind of other deal to replace it. How do you run out of two beers by 9:30? Also the bartender was slammed and the manager just decided to keep walking around awkwardly instead of helping pour beers. Will not be back. Lucky Strike has the same deals and a staff that actually does their job.
Expensive place to play and drink. A pitcher of Miller Lite was something like $16. Good luck getting service at the bar during non peak hours. We stood there for about 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to help us as the people at the front desk glanced over occasionally and pretended we weren’t there. Eventually someone came but every trip to the bar was like this. You don’t have to stand there the whole time but at least keep an eye out.
During one bar camping trip a guy who seemed like a Manager or Lead walked by, said “someone will be right with you” then just walked off and left us standing there a while longer. I can’t imagine what this place would be like without that guy keeping it together.
